Results Are Now Easier to Understand: New In-Context Explanations

We’ve updated the FactDecode Results page to make analysis outputs easier to understand. Click the ⓘ icon to quickly see what each result represents and how to interpret it.
Understand each result without leaving the page
FactDecode provides several ways to examine analysis results, including Factor Contribution, factor–target correlation, SHAP summaries, factor analysis, validation results, and more.
With this update, we’ve added an ⓘ information icon to key sections of the Results page.
Clicking the icon opens a short explanation directly within the page, including:
- About this view — what the result represents
- How to read it — what to focus on when interpreting the result
For analysis views where additional context is particularly important, we also provide information about the calculation basis and what the view does not establish on its own.
Explanations across Standard, Pro, and Elite results
The new information panel is available across major Results sections in Standard, Pro, and Elite.
This includes areas such as:
- Factor Contribution
- Factor–Target Correlation
- Latest Factor Snapshot
- SHAP Summary
- Factor Analysis
- Periodic Validation
- Representative Tree
- Prediction Summary
- Previous Run Comparison
- Validation Score Bands
- Signal Timeline
Explanations are also available for supported locked sections, so you can understand what a feature represents before upgrading.
Clearer and more consistent terminology
We also reviewed user-facing labels and chart copy throughout the Results page.
General interface text is now presented more consistently for each supported language, while established technical terminology such as SHAP and Pearson correlation is preserved where appropriate.
Names that come directly from your data—such as factor names, dataset names, and tickers—are not translated or modified.
No changes to the analysis calculations
This release focuses on making existing results easier to understand.
It does not change the underlying analysis logic, including SHAP calculations, Pearson correlation calculations, signal logic, validation calculations, or other analytical outputs.
The goal is to provide clearer context around the results you already use, without changing what those results mean.
A Results page that is easier to navigate and interpret
Improving FactDecode isn’t only about adding more analysis capabilities. It’s also important that the results already available are understandable at the point where you use them.
When you encounter an unfamiliar result, simply click the ⓘ icon next to the section title.
You can review the explanation, return to the analysis, and continue exploring your results without interrupting your workflow.
