Discord Integration Updated for the Shared xdecode Community
Published on October 15, 2026
The reorganized Discord server now offers common discussion channels alongside dedicated spaces for each product.
You can also check your Discord connection, community membership, product eligibility, and role synchronization status directly from Settings, with clearer controls for resyncing and managing your connection.
Discord Integration Is Now Part of xdecode Community
We've revamped FactDecode's Discord integration and brought it into xdecode Community, a shared community for xdecode products.
The Discord server, previously centered around FactDecode, has been reorganized into a shared space where FactDecode and CauseDecode users can connect and exchange ideas.
With common discussion areas and dedicated product channels, you can explore market research ideas, discuss data analysis, and share practical insights about using each product.
The existing Discord server has been retained, so current members do not need to join a new server.
Explore the New Discord Channel Structure
xdecode Community now includes four common channels and three product-specific channels.
Common Channels
#welcome — Getting Started
Find information about joining the community and the basics of getting started.
#announcements — News & Updates
Stay informed about FactDecode and CauseDecode updates, product releases, and publicly available research from xdecode.
#general — Markets & Research
Discuss financial markets, research ideas, data analysis, and other topics that span multiple xdecode products.
#lounge — Casual Conversation
A space for community members to connect and chat beyond specific products or research topics.
Everyone who has joined the Discord server can view #welcome and #announcements. These are read-only channels for official information and updates.
Members with the Community Member role can view and participate in discussions in #general and #lounge.
Product-Specific Channels
#factdecode — FactDecode Research & Workflows
Discuss datasets, factors, projects, analysis results, validation methods, and research workflows using FactDecode.
This channel is available to users with an active FactDecode paid subscription, qualifying benefits, or an eligible FactDecode Ambassador role.
#factdecode-elite — Advanced Research & Operations
A dedicated channel for FactDecode Elite users.
Explore advanced workflows, repeated analyses, changes in results, monitoring, and other topics related to ongoing research and operations.
#causedecode — CauseDecode Analysis & Workflows
Discuss CauseDecode results, lead-lag relationships, statistical evidence, analysis workflows, and research ideas.
This channel is available to users with an active CauseDecode Plus subscription, qualifying benefits, or an eligible CauseDecode Ambassador role.
Access to product-specific channels is managed according to each product's eligibility requirements.
If you use both FactDecode and CauseDecode, you can access the relevant channels through the same Discord account without linking a separate account for each product.
Check Your Discord Connection in Settings
You can now review your Discord connection and community eligibility from xdecode Community in FactDecode's Settings.
The updated interface brings together the following information:
- Discord Account: The Discord account linked to your xdecode account.
- Community Membership: Your registration status in xdecode Community.
- Discord Link: Whether your Discord account is linked.
- Server Membership: Whether you have joined the Discord server.
- FactDecode Eligibility: Your access eligibility based on subscriptions and benefits.
- Synchronization Status: The current status of Discord role synchronization and cleanup.
Community registration, Discord account linking, and Discord server membership are tracked separately.
Resync and Manage Your Discord Connection
You can now open the Discord server or request role synchronization directly from Settings.
Open Discord
Opens the xdecode Community Discord server.
Resync
Requests synchronization of your Discord roles based on your current subscriptions and benefits.
You can use this option when checking whether changes to your plan or benefits have been reflected in Discord.
Please note that an accepted resync request does not guarantee an immediate update to your Discord roles.
You can also manage your connection under Manage Discord Link and Membership, where two separate actions are available.
Unlink Discord
Disconnects your Discord account while keeping your xdecode Community registration active.
Leave Community
Ends your xdecode Community registration and unlinks your Discord account.
Neither action automatically removes you from the Discord server. If you want to leave the server itself, you must do so directly in Discord.
Unified Role Management Across xdecode Products
Discord role management has also moved to a shared system for xdecode products.
Discord roles are managed based on active FactDecode and CauseDecode subscriptions, referral benefits, and other qualifying access rights.
When your eligibility changes due to a plan update or the end of a subscription period, the corresponding Discord roles are updated through regular synchronization.
Losing access to one product does not affect valid access rights for another. Ending a product subscription is also separate from leaving the community.
Discord role changes may take some time to appear. You can check synchronization status in Settings and request a manual resync when needed.
