Updated Member Eligibility for the xdecode Discord Community

The Member role is now available to users with an active paid FactDecode or CauseDecode plan, an eligible Benefit, or an active Ambassador assignment. Free-only users can still join the Discord server and read #welcome and #announcements, while #general and #lounge are reserved for Members and Staff.
Updated Member Eligibility for the Discord Community
We've updated the requirements for assigning the Member role and accessing shared channels in the xdecode Discord community.
Previously, the Member role was also granted to Free users. With this update, the role is assigned based on a user's current eligibility.
Who Is Eligible for the Member Role?
Users who meet at least one of the following conditions are eligible for the Member role:
- Paid Plans: Users with an active paid subscription to FactDecode or CauseDecode.
- Benefit: Users with an active, eligible Benefit.
- Ambassador: Users with an active Ambassador assignment.
Users who only have a Free plan are not eligible for the Member role.
The Member role provides access to shared discussion channels within the Discord community. Access to dedicated FactDecode and CauseDecode channels, including Elite channels, is managed separately according to each product's eligibility requirements.
Channel Access and Permissions
Anyone who has joined the Discord server can view announcement and information channels, regardless of whether they have the Member role.
Staff members can post official announcements in #announcements.
Free users can continue to join the Discord server and stay informed about community news and updates.
However, participation in discussions within #general and #lounge is limited to users with the Member or Staff role.
How This Affects Existing Users
With this update, Discord Member roles are managed according to each user's current eligibility.
If you only have a Free plan, your Member role may be removed during eligibility synchronization, even if it was previously assigned to your account.
Users with an active paid plan, an eligible Benefit, or an active Ambassador assignment will continue to qualify for the Member role.
Role updates are synchronized with account information, so changes in eligibility may take some time to appear in Discord.
This update does not affect the analysis features or subscription benefits available within FactDecode or CauseDecode.
Join the Discord Community
You can check your Discord connection status from Settings in FactDecode or CauseDecode.
If you haven't linked your Discord account yet, you can start the connection process from Settings and join the community.
We will continue to manage the xdecode Discord community based on the eligibility and benefits associated with each service.
